NOW MONICA WILL LEAD HER OWN CLASS

- KIRSTIE MCCRUM

Weight loss quest proves worthwhile

A PLYMSTOCK woman has lost 6½ stone, going from dress size 20 down to size eight.

Monica says that she loves her 'new-found freedom, after spending eight years on Slimming World. Now she is getting ready to lead her own class as a Slimming World consultant in Plymstock.

Monica has completed her training at Slimming World's national academy and, on April 21, she will officially launch her group.

Monica's story began in 2017 when, after seeing photographs from a social event, she was horrified to realise how much weight she had gained. As a single parent, she knew that in order to see her daughter grow into a young woman, she needed to make a serious change.

She had struggled with her weight from the age of 14.
