Tributes to young man killed in crash

FAMILY AND PARTNER LEFT HEARTBROKEN

HEARTBREAKING tributes have been paid to a young mechanic who died in a bike crash in Plympton.

Michael Cockburn-Hilton was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Boringdon Hill, involving a black Nissan car and a blue Suzuki motorbike.

The collision happened during a police pursuit and an investigation was launched by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).

Family, colleagues and partner of the 23-year-old from Plymouth have now paid tribute to him, describing him as a “beautiful human being” whose death has made the world a “darker place”

Michael's family has said: “We are devastated to share that our beloved son and brother Michael Cockburn-Hilton, has died.

“This tragedy has left our family heartbroken beyond words, and our lives will never be the same.
