TOILETS have been closed on a busy commuter ferry used by thousands every day after the Environment Agency (EA) raised a “possible issue”.

The EA told Tamar crossings there was a “potential regulatory” issue with the on-board toilets.
The facilities were shut on three vehicle and passenger ferries that operate across the river connecting Torpoint and Plymouth at 7pm on Tuesday while an investigation was carried out.
