Time to get all dolled up
The Herald
|October 15, 2025
A RATHER elderly and deteriorating doll is brought into the barn, having been a treasured companion during a difficult time.

Rosebud is 75 years old, and belonged to the late mother of Jacquie, from Barrow-in-Furness.
After losing her father at the age of seven and her mother just two years later, Jacquie’s mother Myra was adopted and given Rosebud by her new parents. But decades of love and affection have left Rosebud with her head hanging loose, hair matted and missing, and lacking both her legs.
