Rum made right here goes down well with celebrities

PLYMOUTH rum Vault 53 is to star on a popular TV show this weekend along with celebrities such as comic Chris McCausland.

The brand will appear on ITVX’s Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh, on Sunday, January 18, between 9.30am and 11.30am.

Mutley Distillery Ltd’s Prickly Pear and Pink Grapefruit Rum will be showcased in the programme's Best of British segment, presented by renowned global rum ambassador Ian Burrell.

He will discuss the unique flavour profile of the rum, before demonstrating how to use it in a special cocktail. The segment is scheduled to air in the final 20 minutes of the show.

Founded just over two years ago, Vault 53 has quickly gained a reputation for its bold, modern approach to rum, crafting a vibrant range of flavoured rums at its base in Mutley Plain.

Founders said the feature on Best of British recognises the brand’s quality and its place within the UK’s thriving craft spirits scene.
