New Safe Bus is ready for action

PLYMOUTH is gaining a new Safe Bus ahead of the festive period.

Following successful funding, the city will shortly have a new safe space, building on an existing collaboration between Devon and Cornwall Police, Plymouth City Council and NHS Devon to provide medical care and treatment.

The bus will be parked up outside the Theatre Royal every Saturday night as usual, and on Fridays during the Christmas period.

The new bus is a distinctive bright green colour and is branded with the Safer Plymouth logo and a yellow circular Safe Bus logo. It will replace the yellow-painted Safe Bus.
