Future of community sports centre is thrown into doubt

THE YMCA will no longer manage a popular community sports centre in Torpoint - throwing the future of those who use it into doubt.

The charitable organisation currently manages the Torpoint and Rame Community Centre building at Torpoint Community College. As well as being used by the school, it offers an affordable gym for the area, is used by a number of sports clubs and provides soft play sessions for children.
