Albion fall short in a thriller at Rosslyn Park

IN a pulsating National League 1 encounter at The Rock, Plymouth Albion once again showcased their tenacity but fell narrowly short in a 33-29 thriller against Rosslyn Park.

Despite the loss, Albion's performance highlighted their ability to compete with the league's best, earning them two valuable points.

Rosslyn Park couldn't have asked for a better start, scoring on their very first play. Sam Kennaugh sliced through the defense to give the hosts a 5-0 lead.

Albion responded swiftly, with Tom Putt slotting a penalty to close the gap to 7-3. But Rosslyn found their rhythm, with Jake Cleet and Charlie Walker both crossing the line in quick succession. Their clinical finishing and high tempo put Albion on the back foot as the score ballooned to 19-3.
