Huge Russian attack forces power cuts in every region of Ukraine

A huge Russian drone and missile attack hit gas facilities in eastern Ukraine yesterday.
The state grid operator, Ukrenergo, introduced emergency power cuts in every region of Ukraine in response.
"Russia launched more than 300 attack drones and 37 missiles, a significant number of them ballistic," Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s president, said on X. “The Russians use every single day to strike at our energy infrastructure.”
Zelenskyy said Moscow had hit regions including Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy and Vinnytsia.
One target was the Shebelinka gas processing plant near the city of Kharkiv. Fires and large columns of black smoke could be seen afterwards. Staff at the plant said it was struck just after 5.30am by drones and missiles that started blazes in different parts of the facility.
