'You've made the dreams of a daft lass come true'

TEESSIDE musician Amelia Coburn says a musical dream has come true after the release of her duet with music legend Paul Weller.

The track Amelia features on, folk song One Last Cold Kiss, was selected by Weller to be on his new album, Find El Dorado.

Released on, Friday, July 25, the album is described as a “deeply personal new album of reinterpretations” that sees the former Jam and Style Council frontman “revisit songs that have long lived in the back of his mind.”

Amelia was first approached by Paul Weller’s team following a recommendation by Shindig magazine editor-in-chief Jon Mills.

After listening to Christy Moore's version of the song, Amelia recorded her section at home on Teesside and sent it off to Weller’s team.

The result is a track that rubs shoulders with other notable collaborations, with Weller also performing with the likes of Noel Gallagher on the album.
