Wrestler Adam flexes his muscles in world contest
The Gazette
|June 21, 2025
A TEESSIDE wrestler put on a dazzling display of muscle to take third place in a world bodybuilding championship competition in Australia.
Adam Foster, who goes by the name Shreddy in the wrestling ring, travelled to Sydney to represent the UK in the NABBA World Championships and was thrilled to take third place. While other little boys were dreaming of becoming football players, the 33-year-old Hartlepool man always dreamed of being a wrestler, but people said he would never do it because of his physique.
But, Adam proved them all wrong and after a lot of very hard work went on to become Shreddy. His new-found muscles led him to start taking part in bodybuilding competitions where he has been hugely successful - even competing in Mr Universe.
