TEESSIDE University has been named University of the Year 2025 at the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards.
Teesside University was described as 'delivering in spades'
The University of the Year is the latest achievement highlighting the university's reputation as one of the UK's most successful and ambitious modern universities.
Judges at the THE Awards praised Teesside University as "unashamedly ambitious for its students", and for "delivering in spades" on its "clear sense of mission".
They also highlighted the key role Teesside University plays within the regional economy, "retaining a laser focus on local skills needs", and the extensive campus redevelopment and impressive teaching facilities.
