Teesside powerchair football team are national champs

TEESSIDE Powerchair Football Club has achieved a significant milestone by winning the national league, officially becoming champions of England.
Under the expert guidance of coach Owen Swift, the team secured the title of champions of the England Premiership Powerchair Football with an impressive goal difference of 69, finishing the season with 57 points.
Owen, from Marton, Middlesbrough, is in his first season as a full-time coach, having previously served as a player-coach for four years. Reflecting on the club's journey, he said: “We began in late October 2018 with just four players. Today, we have grown to 13 members, allowing us to field two teams that compete at a national level.”
