BORO PUSHED TOP-FLIGHT OPPOSITION ALL THE WAY AT CRAVEN COTTAGE
MARCO Silva warned his Fulham players against complacency ahead of their clash with Middlesbrough, appreciating their form would make this such a tricky game.
Fulham ended up beating Boro 3-1 at Craven Cottage in the FA Cup third-round tie, but it was not without a struggle.
Making seven changes for the game to rest some key men, Fulham were dominated for 55 minutes by Boro, who led at that point through Hayden Hackney’s goal.
But forced to introduce star players like Harry Wilson earlier than he wanted, Silva's side managed to turn the game around with a much-improved final 30 minutes.
