MIDDLESBROUGH is set to welcome the festive season with a bang this November, including the return of a town centre Christmas parade.
Across the weekend of November 22 and 23, Middlesbrough town centre will host its annual lights switch-on, a Christmas parade with Santa and reindeers, and a new light installation from the creators of Nightfall.
On Sunday, November 23, the parade will take a route through the town centre, where crowds can gather to cheer on colourful characters, including Frozen's Elsa, Santa Claus and two of his favourite reindeer.
