Appeal by dangerous sex offender jailed for murder bid

A DANGEROUS sexual predator who tormented his victims and chased down one schoolgirl in a horrifying stabbing which shook Teesside has appeared at the Court of Appeal.

Ellis Dismore was jailed for 38 years and was told he would spend an additional five years on extended sentence after he was found guilty of a string of offences including attempted murder in 2024.

Yesterday, Dismore, now 25, appealed the length of his sentence at London's Court of Appeal.

But, following a hearing which lasted less than an hour, Dismore's case was dismissed, meaning his 43-year extended sentence remains in place.

Reclusive paedophile Dismore was found guilty of attempted murder by a jury after he chased down a schoolgirl and stabbed her five times in the back and chest in Premier Road, Middlesbrough.

A second jury found him guilty of a string of child sex offences and stalking after police uncovered a terrifying history of offending while investigating the murder bid.
