Actor, 40, accused of raping two women denies all charges

A MIDDLESBROUGH actor on trial accused of raping two women, has said he was “disgusted” when he found out what he was being arrested for.

Rizwan Khan, 40, told a jury: “I couldn't believe this was happening” when he was asked about being taken into a police station to be questioned.
Khan gave evidence from the witness box on the third day of his trial, at Teesside Crown Court.
He denies six counts of rape and one sexual assault against two women in separate incidents.
He has also pleaded not guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to a child. It is alleged that he slapped a child around the face while he was looking after them. Yesterday, Khan told the jury that he did not force either woman to have sex with him.
