A well-earned rest for devoted trainer Jeff

TRAINER Jeff has retired after inspiring hundreds of Teessiders in more than 6,000 military-style bootcamps.

Jeff John Hazell, 69, has hung up his dumbbells after 11 years as a physical trainer at his outdoor fitness company PhysicalFX.

Since its inception in 2014, Jeff has successfully led thousands of boot camps, in turn contributing to the health and wellbeing of participants with sessions at Tees Barrage and Hemlington.

Jeff, a former military serviceman, decided the time had come to retire to focus more on his family, particularly his wife Lee and their two sons, Harry, 25, and Ollie ,15.

Married for 30 years, they have lived at Marine Point, in Hartlepool, since 2010.
