YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER WHAT AFFECTS YOU

I have learned over the years that whatever happens in life, we have the capacity to control how things affect us - especially those times when life throws a curve ball that shakes our balance and equilibrium.

Through the years, I have learned that it helps to have faith and trust in the Lord's power when things seem overwhelming. I believe that He will move mountains to help us with our problems and trials, whatever they may be.

This strengthens the view that we actually have control over what affects us, and through this belief, we gain the grace and confidence to say that everything will be all right.

In this train of thought, I believe that our Lord is our refuge and our shelter through whatever uncertainties we are facing in life, and through our daily connection with Him through our prayers and meditation, a bright light guides us in moments of darkness.
