But in as much as a melding of creative themes and approaches has become part of the Cebuano artist’s creative DNA, there’s one aspect to it that homogenizes the spectrum that makes it inimitable: the Cebuano artist’s predilection to capture scenes as they are - to capture life as it appears.

This aspect to Cebuano art was in top form in Galerie Raphael’s “Veil of Light”.
