TikTok Shop boosts Pinoy brands with local festival

Social media platform, TikTok is stepping up efforts to fuel the expansion of local brands in the Philippines as it broadens support for micro and small enterprises seeking to tap the country’s rapidly growing social-commerce market.

At its recent #SarilingAtin Local Brands Festival, TikTok Shop gathered more than 100 MSMEs, 200 creators and partners, and over 1,000 attendees in a show of force aimed at boosting the visibility and sales momentum of homegrown products.
The event, which has become TikTok Shop’s flagship platform for promoting Filipino brands, strengthens the company’s strategy to reinforce digital participation among small businesses and widen consumer discovery.
“Every Filipino brand has a story worth sharing, and TikTok Shop is here to help them reach customers who appreciate quality, authenticity and creativity,” said Franco Aligaen, Marketing Lead at TikTok Shop Philippines.
