As Cebu gears to celebrate Father's Day this Sunday, The Freeman draws the spotlight on the unique relationship shared between fathers and their children.

We asked two accomplished Cebuano fathers - Jay Fernandez and Harold Go - how fatherhood has been fulfilling for them, and their children - Jazmine Fernandez, Hans Ethan Go, Hugh Enzoe Go, Hayden Edric Go, Ean Hendrix Go - what makes their dad the best in the world.

We also asked Grand Benedicto how his father - Enrique Benedicto - molded him to be the man he is today. Here's what they had to say:

The most fulfilling aspect of being a father is seeing my kids grow up applying the values they were taught as children, cherishing our moments during family outings and travels, and helping them grow into better individuals.

My father has had a significant impact on who I am today and on the kind of father I strive to be. From him, I learned integrity and grit, as well as the importance of learning from every shortcoming. These values and lessons continue to guide me as I raise my own children.
