The night of last May 23, Friday, saw another successful edition of the Gabii sa Kabilin (GSK) a one-night event that featured cultural shows and exhibits and allowed the public unfettered access to more than 20 museums in Cebu.

It is heartening to know that many people are still interested in our history, culture, and heritage despite being exposed to many other foreign cultures on TV, the internet, and movies; foreign cultures and practices that may hold more allure for some of us, especially the younger ones.
Again, if this is feasible, we would like to propose that this event should be held over two or even three nights as opposed to just one.
