In celebration of Valentine's Day today, police forces are now on full alert status, warning the public to be vigilant against reports of minors being exploited and being allowed entry into accommodation establishments in Cebu.

Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) Director Police Colonel Abubakar Mangelen Jr. announced to the public that the police force is on full alert status to address any complaints involving juvenile individuals being exploited inside hotels, motels, lodging houses, and resorts.

This came after learning that reports regarding the issue have been prevalent, particularly during Valentine's Day.

Mangelen also mentioned that the public is expected to abide by existing laws and ordinances that protect the welfare of the public, particularly minors, regardless of their gender.
