Pagcor approves monthly guarantee fee for GSAs

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) has approved the implementation of a monthly fee for accredited gaming system administrators (GSAs), a move aimed at addressing gaps in the current fee structure.

To promote fairness and fiscal responsibility in the gaming industry, the gaming regulator described the introduction of the monthly guaranteed fee (MGF) as a measure to ensure equitable and consistent revenue contributions from accredited gaming operators.
“GSAs granted new accreditation shall be afforded a six-month period from the date of approval to commence operations. Upon lapse of this period, the MGF shall be imposed regardless of operational status,” PAGCOR said.
GSAs operating electronic casino games with a minimum gross gaming revenue of P30 million will be required to pay P9 million as the first tranche, covering the period from April 1 to Sept. 30.
