P5.6M drugs seized in one week

More than P5.6 million worth of illegal drugs and 334 arrested individuals were seized in various operations conducted by the Police Regional Office Central Visayas (PRO-7) from June 29 to July 5, 2025.
During that time period 333 police operations were conducted in total, wherein 158 were related to illegal drugs, 78 in arresting wanted persons, 57 in recovering loose firearms, and 40 operations against illegal gambling.
Based on the weekly report, a total of P5,605,172 worth of illegal drugs equivalent to 824.28 grams of shabu were impounded, leading to the arrest of 183 drug personalities.
