No politics in relief efforts - Archival

Mayor Nestor Archival has denied allegations circulating online that some barangays are being left out of Cebu City's relief operations following the recent typhoon.

In a press conference yesterday, Archival stressed that the city governmentunder his leadership and in coordination with Vice Mayor Tommy Osmeña, who is currently on leave, as well as the city council-is working to ensure swift rehabilitation and equitable distribution of aid without any politics involved.

“Ako lang ning ipahibawo nga ang city government under me, Mayor Nestor Archival, and Tommy Osmeña and the City Council, nga ato gyud gitinguha nga dali ra ang pag-rehabilitate,” Archival said. “Dali even ang atong pagpanghatag sa atong mga relief.”
