Mandaue City Hospital gets P10M fund, new lab machines

|November 19, 2025
Economically-disadvantaged patients of the Mandaue City Hospital will now receive greater support after a P10-million fund was turned over to the facility.
The fund, part of the Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially-Incapacitated Patients Program (MAIFPP), was handed over to hospital chief Dr. Ligaya Lakambini Dargantes.
Dargantes said the MAIFPP will help patients settle hospital bills, especially amounts not covered by PhilHealth.
Mao nay purpose ni MAIFPP,” she explained.
She added that the hospital has also been using MAIFPP to support Outpatient Department patients.
