Lumad Basakanon, arnistadors to perform at Osaka World Expo

The Cebu City's Lumad Basakanon and the Lapu-Lapu City's arnistadors are among the chosen performers to represent the country in the Osaka World Expo in Japan this coming weekend.

The two groups are set to leave Cebu today, June 5, for them to get enough time to settle, adjust and rehearse.
Lumad Basakanon's main man and Basak San Nicolas Barangay Captain Norman Navarro, in an interview with The Freeman, yesterday clarified that the event in Japan is not a contest, but a showcase of talents.
This came after many netizens have wished them goodluck.
Navarro said, although it is not a competition, the group appreciated all the messages of support as these would serve as an inspiration for them to present the Philippines in the best way possible.
