Life Is. Fragile

Cherish The Moment

I felt a deep sadness when I came by the news that a commercial airplane in India crashed.

The news made me think of how fragile life truly is — that in the blink of an eye, it could all be taken away without any warning.

Who would've thought that such a tragedy would end the hopes and dreams of many there and then — people who, one way or another, were looking forward to a better and rosy tomorrow.

As harrowing as the news was, I felt that it doubled as a reminder that we shouldn't take our time here on earth for granted. Tomorrow is, truly, not a promise.

From this frame of view, we must remember that it is of utmost importance for us to treasure what time we have — the moment we share with friends and loved ones now. Not how things were, not how things will be... now.
