Fewer supporters attend Duter10, Baricuatro thanksgiving concert

June 30, 2025

Organized by the Cebu DDS Coalition and PDP-Laban Duter10, the free public gathering was envisioned as a large-scale post-election celebration of Baricuatro’s victory.

While supporters arrived steadily throughout the afternoon and evening, the crowd appeared thinner than anticipated by early evening, with portions of the venue still visibly open.

Nonetheless, the program pushed through with full performances from six local bands Voicebucks, Eve and Jack, 3rd Street, Uno, Wet Slipperz, and The Ambassadors.

Among those who graced the event was Malasakit@Bayanihan Partylist Representative Girlie Veloso, who underscored Cebu’s role in expanding access to public healthcare.

Veloso noted that the province currently has the highest number of Malasakit Centers nationwide—an initiative led by Senator Bong Go.
