Female rider told to explain viral stunt video
The Freeman
|June 18, 2025
The Land Transportation Office Region 7 has issued a show cause order against a female rider after a video of her performing dangerous motorcycle stunts on a busy highway in Mandaue City went viral on social media.
-
The rider, identified as Debbie Marie Amores Juit, is the registered owner of the Honda motorcycle seen in the video. Her vehicle registration lists a Don Carlos, Bukidnon address.
The incident, which occurred on June 12, 2025, quickly drew widespread public attention and online criticism. The footage shows the female rider executing perilous maneuvers—letting go of the handlebars, leaning precariously to one side, and even dancing while the motorcycle was in motion in the midst of active traffic.
LTO-7 stressed that such behavior is a serious threat to road safety.
