After her brief stint with the Cebu 2nd District Engineering Office of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region VII in Dalaguete town south of Cebu, Engr. Susan Ornopia-Aroa is back to where she belongs in the field of public service.

In a special order dated July 1, 2025, DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan designated Ornopia-Aroa as officer-in-charge (OIC) District Engineer of DPWH-7's Cebu 4th District Engineering Office based Medellin town.
The official turnover ceremony yesterday was graced by Cebu Fourth District Rep. Sun Shimura, his wife Provincial Board Member Kerrie Keane Shimura, and the top officials of DPWH-7 headed by Regional Director Danilo Villa Jr.
