DSWD-7, PSA step up nat'l ID registration for 4Ps beneficiaries
The Freeman
|February 06, 2026
The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 7 (DSWD-7), in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), continues the registration of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) ID across Central Visayas.
The ongoing registration aims to promote inclusivity and ensure that no beneficiary is left behind. PhilSys registration activities are being conducted in various cities and municipalities in the region, including house-to-house registration for bedridden and other vulnerable beneficiaries who are unable to personally visit registration sites.
The initiative seeks to cover all 4Ps households in Central Visayas and provide them access to National ID authentication services.
As of February 4, 2026, a total of 79,874 beneficiaries representing 45.81 percent of the 174,348 target 4Ps beneficiaries in the region have already been registered.
DSWD-7 Regional Director Shalaine Marie Lucero urged remaining 4Ps beneficiaries who have yet to register to visit the nearest PSA office or participate in scheduled National ID registration activities in their respective localities.
