Archival strengthens tie-up with international partners

Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival continues to build international partnerships, engaging with three foreign delegations in the first half of October to strengthen cooperation in education, disaster resilience, cultural exchange, and sustainable development.

From Switzerland to Ukraine to the Republic of Korea, these engagements reflect Cebu’s active diplomacy and its growing network of allies in government, business, and civic development.

Earlier this month, Mayor Archival received His Excellency Dr. Nicolas Brühl, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Philippines, and Swiss Honorary Consul in Cebu Mathias Bergundthal during a courtesy visit at City Hall.

The Swiss officials expressed concern and solidarity following the recent earthquake in northern Cebu.

Mayor Archival shared updates on the city’s relief and recovery efforts and emphasized the importance of international support in times of crisis.
