Archival, Aumentado eyed for RDC chair

Acting RDC chairperson and Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev-7) regional director Jennifer Bretaña underscored the importance of the reorganization, calling it a reaffirmation of the region’s commitment to collective development and inclusive progress.

“As we gather today, we are not just reorganizing a council, we are reaffirming our commitment to the people we serve, the communities we support, and the collective vision we aim to achieve,” Bretaña said.

She lauded the achievements of the outgoing 2022-2025 council, which advanced policy recommendations on economic, social, infrastructure, environmental, and institutional priorities. These, she said, laid the groundwork for the region's continued socioeconomic growth.
