From Iloilo comes to us the news that a vice mayor has died after an accident involving a gun last Tuesday morning.

According to reports, Dueñas Vice Mayor Aimee Paz Lamasan was organizing her things in her residence in La Paz, Iloilo City, when the accident happened. She was reportedly about to put away a 9mm pistol when it accidentally discharged and the slug hit her in the abdomen.
She was rushed to the hospital for treatment but later died on Wednesday.
Policemen aren’t closing the case on this yet.
