The United Continental Eagles Club (UCEC) formally launched its “Run for Hope” fundraising activity slated on October 12 at the Cebu Business Park.
UCEC President Jose “Jomen” Mendaros, Jr. said their charity event is for the benefit of the needy ones especially the persons with disabilities (PWDs) in far-flung areas across the province of Cebu.
Mendaros shared that since 2021, UCEC has been conducting community outreach projects such as medical, dental, and eye checkups that have reached as far as Madridejos town in Bantayan Island up north and Sibonga down South. They’re also donating wheelchairs regularly through their “Wheels of Hope” initiative.
