2,000 PRO-7 cops deployed for Holy Week security

A total of 2,134 police officers from the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7) have been officially deployed across the region to provide security during the observance of Holy Week and the summer vacation season.
The send-off ceremony yesterday was led by PRO-7 Director Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan.
"Today is very momentous because we will be sending out 2,000 policemen who will ensure the safety and security of our citizens while they are observing the Holy Week and at the same time enjoying the summer vacation," said Maranan in his speech.
