15,000 cops to secure "Traslacion"

The Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to deploy 15,000 personnel for the "Traslacion" during the annual feast of Jesus Nazareno in Manila on January 9.

Major Philip Ines, spokesperson of the Manila Police District, said in an interview with DZBB on Saturday, January 3, that the police will also be augmented by personnel from other government agencies to help manage crowds, traffic, and emergency response.
