Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his allies, accusing them of protecting Bangladeshi infiltrators. Addressing party workers in Dehri-on-Sone.

In Bihar, Shah brouhaha over bloc's 'Bangla foray'

Rohtas district, Shah urged them to warn the public that an INDIA bloc government would lead to an influx of infiltrators.

The remarks follow Prime Minister Narendra Modi's strong stance on infiltration during a recent public meeting in Purnea. The consistent focus on this issue by top BJP leaders suggests a strategic effort to make it a key topic ahead of the upcoming elections.

Speaking to BJP workers from the Shahabad and Magadh regions, an area considered challenging for the NDA, Shah criticised Gandhi's "Voter Adhikar Yatra" in Bihar, rebranding it as "Ghuspaithiya Bachao Yatra" (Save the Infiltrators March).

He alleged that the yatra's true purpose was to safeguard Bangladeshi infiltrators.

"Have any of you lost your votes?" Shah asked the crowd, dismissing Gandhi's claims that the BJP and Election Commission were colluding to steal votes. He argued that the yatra's real agenda was not about education, employment, or infrastructure, but about protecting infiltrators.
