Failed to crack SSE four times, Dewas resident Deepika tops MP

Dewas-based Deepika Patidar, who had failed to clear state service exams in her last four attempts, not only managed to succeed in the fifth attempt but also emerged as a state's topper in SSE-2022, the results and final selection list of which were released on Saturday.

Deepika secured 902.75 marks out of 1500 marks. Hoshangabad based Aditya Narayan Tiwari stood second with 897.50 marks and Surbhi Jain third with 893 marks. Female candidates outperformed males with six of them securing place in the top 10. Besides, among the 24 candidates who were selected for deputy collector post, 11 are women. Nine out of 10 toppers chose to become deputy collector but the 10th in the list, Ramsha Ansari opted for deputy superintendent post.
