Child killed in hit-and-run inside SGNP

A Diwali outing turned into a mournful loss for the Yadav family as their one-and-a-half-year-old child was killed in a hit-and-run inside the Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP).

The victim, Manasi, was fond of animals, especially tigers and lions, and hence a visit to the SGNP was planned, lamented the distraught family. The accused, Vinod Kawale, 37, who resides in Ravanapada within the national park, has been booked for rash driving, causing death by negligence and act endangering life or personal safety
