Two women entrepreneurs from Uttar Pradesh, leveraging state government support, are scaling their millet-based organic food startup with an eye on exporting to Gulf countries.
Shikha Singh Chauhan and Somyya Singh, graduates from Delhi University who chose to return to their villages, founded the venture focusing on organic pulses, spices, ghee, millet pasta, and multigrain products. Their model operates on a farm-tofork principle, procuring raw materials directly from small farmers at fair prices and eliminating intermediaries.
