Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar traveled to New Delhi last week and is planning another visit on November 6, just a week or ten days before Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s scheduled visit on November 15. In the national capital, he is said to have met Ambika Soni, a close aide of Sonia Gandhi, and held discussions with several senior Congress leaders.

Speculations are rife regarding strategies linked to the November Revolution, and Shivakumar’s silent maneuvering has reportedly caused some unease within Siddaramaiah’s camp.
