₹7,410 crore sanctioned for first phase of Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela works; CM Fadnavis-led committee to oversee
The long-awaited development plan for the 2027 Simhastha Kumbh Mela to be held in Nashik-Trimbakeshwar has been approved, with a total outlay of Rs25,055 crore. Of this, Rs7,410 crore has already been sanctioned, informed Kumbh Mela Authority Chairman and Divisional Commissioner Praveen Gedam and Kumbh Mela Commissioner Shekhar Singh.
