BBAU students chase VC after clash

Chaos broke out at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) in Lucknow on Wednesday during a Vishwakarma Puja event when two groups of students clashed violently.
The incident left two students from the Dalit group seriously injured.

°No objection to Wangchuk altering plea’
The Union Government on Wednesday told the Supreme Court that it has no objection to Ladakh activist Sonam Wangchuk sharing the notes he has prepared to challenge his detention with his wife, Dr Gitanjali Angmo. Taking note of this submission, the Court adjourned the petition filed by Angmo challenging Wangchuk’s detention under the National Security Act (NSA) to October 29, after her lawyer, Senior Advocate Kapil Sibal, sought permission to amend the petition to include additional grounds and reliefs.
