Digi spaces inaccessible for disabled: Nat'l study

A new national study has revealed that a vast section of India's digital ecosystem still excludes users with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive disabilities.
The BB100 State of Digital Accessibility in India 2025 report, which analysed 100 of the country's most visited websites, found an average of 116 accessibility errors per homepage. The report was released at the 4th edition of Inclusive India: Digital First on November 10 at JW Marriott Sahar. It evaluates websites across major sectors using BarrierBreak's AllyInspect tool and WCApaperleep standards. Entertainment platforms recorded the highest error rate at 285.2, followed by travel and tourism at 144.3 and e-commerce at 121.5.
