Collector Shows Displeasure During UMC Works Inspection

Collector Roshan Kumar Singh carried out a surprise inspection of the construction works being undertaken by the Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) for Simhastha Mahaparv-2028 on Saturday as well as the under-construction Medical College.
The Collector reviewed the ongoing road development at Kothi Road, Mahaveer Nagar in front of D-Mart, the Gada Puliya-Manchhaman to Indore Road project, and the widening of routes from Koyla Phatak to Kanthal and VD Cloth Market to Chhoti Puliya.
At Mahaveer Nagar, he instructed officials to ensure proper soil compaction for road durability, coordinate with the electricity department for early shifting of transformers, construct pathways simultaneously with the road, and ensure chambers are not built higher than the road level.
