B'deshis seek freedom from illegitimate rule of Yunus regime: Report

Bangladesh's citizens are yearning for liberation from the widespread anarchy that has engulfed the nation since the “illegitimate” Muhammad Yunus-led interim government took power in August 2024, a recent report claimed on Saturday.
According to Bangladeshi journalist and political analyst Syed Badrul Ahsan, the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s recent interviews with Western media have shaken the Yunus regime. Writing in Northeast News, Ahsan said, “These interviews—coming as the regime plans to try Sheikh Hasina before a partisan International Crimes Tribunal—show why she remains relevant in Bangladesh’s politics.”
